For over twenty years Timothy White has been one of the most prolific and sought after celebrity photographers in the country. White has contributed to the covers of virtually every high profile publication, (Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Playboy) hundreds of movie posters for Hollywood’s top studios, (Sony, Paramount, Universal) and album covers for a remarkable roster of musicians, (Bruce Springsteen, Aretha Franklin, Jon Bon Jovi).
Timothy White’s published works include: Timothy White; Portraits, published by Rizzoli with foreword by Harrison Ford, and Indian Larry published by Merrell, with forewords by Matthew Barney, Paul Cox, and Billy Lane. Timothy White’s next two book projects, Hollywood Pin Ups and Billy Lane will be published in 2007 by Harper Collins.
Named one of the most important people in photography by American Photo, Timothy White is the recipient of several photography and film awards, including the 2004 International Photographer of the Year. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, White was born in Fort Lee, New Jersey, and currently resides in New York City.
